"Decoding & Writing Grants for Beginners" is a 1-day Virtual workshop that highlights everything you need to jumpstart (or improve) your grant writing skills.

Throughout the 5-hour workshop, you will :

Compare and Contrast Grant Funders

Learn how to search for grant opportunities

Study 5 important parts of a grant proposal.

Learn how to take a SMART approach to goals, objectives, evaluation, and budgets.

Practices a simple 1-2-3 formula for crafting persuasive case statements.

Create a "Game Plan" for meeting the deadline.
We will also discuss best practices; new issues like Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; and how the 2020 Presidential election will reshape the face of nonprofit funding.
New for 2021: Each registration also receives up to 1 hour of 1-to-1 support with the trainer!

About Your Trainer
Adminstrative Lead

As a grant reviewer she has evaluated $200M+ in grants and contracts for 10 government programs in health, education, agriculture, and environment. As a grant writer she has helped nonprofits- large and small- develop winning proposal strategies for foundation and government grants. She is a Grant Professionals Association Approved Trainer.
